cry of the street

Some Nigerian celebs, on Saturday took to the street in Lagos, protesting the abduction of over 234 school girls from Government Girls Secondary School, Chibok, Borno State.
The celebs comprised popular actress and singers like Tonto Dike, Tiwa Savage, Toke Makinwa, Elohor Aisien, Debola Williams and many others.
They marched from Falomo Roundabout to the State house Onikan where they met with Lagos state governor, Babatunde Fashola.
On April 14, over 234 school girls writing their WEAC exam at Government Girls Secondary School, Chibok, Borno State, were kidnapped by Boko Haram sect. The move had, however, stirred international community anger as the U.S, France, China and the UK have joined the Nigeria government in search as well as safe rescue of the girls.
